"New Voicemail" message on my basic v-tech phones... These aren't cell phones, just phones that are portable within the house or very close by. Friends bought them because I'm convalescent
I can't remove this or answer it. The problem is that I can't access any subsequent messages left on the phone. When I try to access or delete the message, it says it is long distance and that I must dial 1 before any number I'm trying to access. Do you know anything about this, or anyone who might have a solution to this problem?
I did dail 1 before my code number, but to no avail. Otherwise, the phones work fine.

The instructions look clear, but afterwards I still have the New Voicemail message. Thanks, perhaps someone can help.

Many regular phones used as landlines have bluetooth compatibility. So what happens is the bluetooth connects to your cell phone, and then triggers a notificiation on the landline phone's screen because there is a voicemail on the cell phone it's connected to via bluetooth.
