Spanish architectural decoration

I've had a slow drive back from the south of Spain to Germany but made a trip of it by calling at a few towns and cities in the west of Spain I've not been to.
From the photos I took I thought I'd just string together a few of them from random old buildings to highlight some of the details that are sometimes missed .

I had dropped off a friend at Malaga airport after visiting the car museum there (car and dress museum to be accurate) then visited Antequera, Torcal, Ronda, Ecija, Badajoz, Elvas (in Portugal), Caceres and Salamanca.
Only a couple of stops in France at Mimizan Plage and Montargis before slipping through Luxembourg into Germany.

Impressive. Some of those statues are definitely up to no good.

Mick, the area is rife with storks nesting. There are also several bodies of water where flamingos congregate.

Fumo, that one sure is unusual.
