Someone asked me the name of the butterfly - I found this:
tinyurl.com/mrw5wq6 Looks pretty much the same - this one has a dark mark on the wing tip and identifies it as a male.
My butterfly book says the females hover from flower to flower looking for a place to lay her eggs.
The males dart quickly back and forth hunting down females.
My butterfly was hovering...

I saw this bush from a distance in Grenada and thought it had been covered in childrens toys -
But when I got closer this was what it was with my hand next to it for size comparison. It is the caterpillar of the Frangipani moth -
