Well, that's what any Philistine would do, no?

I agree Mick. I doubt whether you would find a sign of Jewish faith, Muslim faith or even several of the New Faiths here in Africa, showing their disregard for their or anyone else's faith. Like you I am completely anti- any religion and believe most reverently there is absolutely no higher power out there. But that does not mean I do not respect another belief.

There has to be some entity keeping an eye on the antics down here on Earth. He/it realised that there were far to many people running about and sent us Corona virus to thin the numbers down.

That's because AIDS didn't work as well as hoped.

Surely this should be a joyful picture for Christian believers. He has risen ! The implement of execution is empty,no longer needed. He will return to gather all the believers etc. etc.etc.

You should see the triple line up effect with both the Assemblée Nationale and the Madeleine also under wraps.

The Christmas tractor run around my locale was well publicised ; however this pic was quite unexpected as this tractor passed me on the way to the meet up whilst I stopped to post a letter on the road in my village ...so just a quick phone snap. live.staticflickr.com/65535/52581814436_9200918b28_c.jpg

To be honest it is not in my town but fairly close by , in my neighbouring county of Gloucestershire .The Forest of Dean is an interesting place on many levels -a land of juxtapositions, it can look grim in all seasons but also equally lovely in all seasons too. Parts of it are very rural but wherever you go there is an industrial vibe that nods to its mining roots. The managers of the forest itself try so hard to make it a mecca for rural tourism and in part they have succeeded- cycle tracks, walking paths , wildlife havens, Go Ape course, a welcome cafe etc. I've explored many areas on foot, on bike and on horseback over the last 20 years or so . Anyway back to the point ... as part of my aim to complete 10K steps per day I set off on a walk in a part of the forest that I did not know and came across this ... although I had seen photos of it I had never seen it before or even knew where to find it so it was certainly an unexpected sight indeed. live.staticflickr.com/65535/52653250203_77b16cc89e_c.jpg

Close to home, in La Hulpe : Monsieur Choc. The villain created by Will (born in LH) in the cartoon atrips Tif et Tondu. I find this character spectacular.

There are so many amazing cartoon characters all over Belgium. My last trip before covid was scheduled for Liège, but lockdown suddenly cancelled everything. I have not yet managed to return.
