Erratic weather here. Drives me nuts as I have 2 or 3 piles of clothes laid out to accommodate the ever changing temperatures. Warming trend today with temperatures up to the upper 60F's, intermittent rain.

A little bit more snow here to add to the last couple of scatterings To add to my last post, my milkman did make it later on so I was saved, he has been delivering here for several years and is always cheerful.

Really pretty Mossie - you have had more than I - just a sprinkling here but is it so cold with a stiff easterly wind. Temps down to -2/-3 at night.

We had the tiniest dusting of snow in Paris this morning, just minuscule specks and no flakes. We are still waiting for the real snow that is supposed to fall in the nighttime hours. Temperatures are supposed to stay below freezing for at least two days, so anything that falls on grassy areas or open ground shouldn't melt. The pavement is already salted everywhere, so the streets should remain clear.

still quite a bit of snow here, for our standards, and quite cold, trains are running late ... the kids have fun, though ...

Meanwhile, here in the southwest of France, we are having record levels of rain. More is falling as I write.

We didn't get nearly as much snow as promised -- only about 2cm. When I got up this morning, the temperature was -2°. Now we have bright sunshine but the temperature has dropped to -4°.

sunny here today (well, by now not anymore, as it is dark), and still cold and with snow. sister in law took the kids to the only hill in the village, but it was too crowded there ... meanwhile, a friend sent me a picture of her son skiing in a park in berlin (if i show that to agnes, she might ask me to buy her her own skis, too - but considering this is the first time in years with that much snow, that might be a bit of waste of money) ...

Light snow here tonight. It's quite dry and fine, not our usual slushy huge flakes. We aren't expecting much tonight but might get 3-4 inches this weekend before it returns to the inevitable cold rain.

It is another stinking hot day. Where did that terminology come from? Stinking hot....because when it's hot we end up sweating and stinking??

The temperature has barely risen above freezing all week and it's hard to work up any enthusiasm to do anything. Which is not like me at all.
If it had been sunny and cold I could at least work in the greenhouse but it has been generally cloudy. The air is bone dry as well which isn't pleasant.
A change should begin on Sunday.

Our weather took a rude turn for the worst with heavy rains, much colder temperatures and a possible freeze this weekend and remaining cold through Ash Wednesday. I expect I'll be hauling in plants on a off throughout the day into tomorrow. I'm more worried about my lemon tress which are now in full bloom. Talk about getting "nipped in the bud".

We're predicted to have anything from an inch of snow to a foot of it tonight depending on which forecast you refer to. I don't think I've ever seen such large forecast deviations before for a snow event.

beautiful sunny weather since yesterday, and there is still lots of snow. not sure i am going to go outside, though, feeling kind of lazy - if agnes was here this weekend, it'd be different, and i hope her dad goes outside with her, so she can play in the snow ...

Nasty, dank, miserable . Temperatures in the 40F's and plunging this weekend into the 30F's. I am going to have to harvest all my lettuces and other cool season greens before they turn to mush.

On the other side of the equator we are perspiring like anything as the humidity is very high.
