Really like the crochet blanket, I have a few on beds and couches in our home. I love bright colours as well as my furniture is brown and black so the blankets bring the colour to the room. My friends grab them to wrap up in when over for drinks/cards/game nights.
You are such a lovely Gran to gift your great grandchildren with creative pieces and patterns to dress their bears!
I was just talking with my cousins on the weekend about our Nana and how she tried to teach me how to crochet and knit, I could just not get it. My older sister however did and has been busy herself making blankets and sweaters for her grandchildren!

I am overwhelmed by the little princess's bear. I swear it is alive -- so much expression! And clothes, darling clothes. Bear even has a slicker for wet days. The picture of your darling communing with her bear is worth gold and rubies. You are such an artist, Cheery.

The obvious care and craftsmanship of these are really very remarkable. Almost too good to leave to the tender affections of a child!

Stereotype buttons? No time to go to the hairdresser? Glued to mobile phone? Too many case files in the satchel?

Thebag has a little notebook and a folder with papers shoved in...the thing she's holding is supposed to be her mobile... she also has a jangly necklace and dangly earings....

So many brilliantly executed labors of love!
The quilt has squares within squares -- beautiful work. Is the other side solid or print fabric?
You know I love your dolls and these two are worthy additions. I don't know how you do it!

You are very kind I've had Lorelei's first teddy to fix, when she gets tired she twiddles the fur on his chest and sucks her thumb...and made a little hole (which she insisted her Mummy put a plaster on). So the bear has come to Nannasaurus' teddy bear hospital to be fixed. I've reinforced the seam by lining the inside with felt, sewn it all firmly shut and for good measure I've sewn a red felt heart patch over the repair. Teddy has a snazzy new outfit (which will fit the dolls that she has too) and I've made a baby teddy bear, making a baby carrier/sling so that big Ted can carry it. Granddaughter is expecting so I thought it was a good idea...
