I made my first Pommes Fondant ever. Well, just whoa there little dawgie! They were so wonderful that I will never make roast potatoes again. I cannot describe the sumptuous flavour. I think I will leave my method in the Galley.

It must have have been good. Same place or somewhere new? I never ate twice in the same place. Today I had a big green salad with strips of smoked salmon marinated in tomato and basil.

This, just in: our housekeeper sent her daughterbdown to thir neighboring houe. The young woman brought back caldo de pollo and mole rojo for our comida. Greatly appreciated.

not really lunch, as it was early afternoon and not really lunch-like food, but it was the "middle meal" for us today: freshly baked waffles (the heart shaped ones from a waffle iron) with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
