they also said it was the 22nd school shooting this year. i think i read that ten people have died in this one. feel very sorry for all those families and for the kids that lost their lives or their friends or that were injured ...
also read that yesterday 7 year old found a loaded gone in a toy box and ended up shooting himself. the mother says she doesn't know whose gun it was.

yeah, it is lots of things, lots of people moving here also from other parts of germany, bad planning, etc. ... apart from the prices going up, i read a few months ago about how only 1.7 % of apartments are free, and for normal mobility in housing you need something like over 2.5 %, so currently even if you can afford a more expensive place, you often won't find one - and if you live in a place that is too big (because you got divorced or the kids moved out) you can't find a smaller one, either ... it used to be common to find people with whom to "exchange" apartments, but the owners often don't allow for this now, either ...

an article from last year that i just googled spoke of 9,6 % rise for apartments, 15,7 % for houses in Berlin if you buy them, for rent it is just a rise of 5,6 % on average, but in my part of town it is 17,1 %. we would like to move to a three room place, but apart from it being hard to find, i am not sure we could afford it (unless we never want to travel or eat out again) ...

apart from the lables thing, the thing with the taskbar tweaker is that you can't only avoid the stacking on top of each other, but also the attaching next to each other - like, even if you select never to stack on the windows taskbar menu, the different icons of the same kind will still be next to each other. if you try to move something different (like a word window) right in the middle of a bunch of let's say, chrome windows, that won't work. and if you try to move one of those chrome windows to a different place on the taskbar, the rest will follow ... i like to have all things sorted in a way that i go from left on right on my taskbar instead of jumping back and forth. it is silly, i suppose, but that's how i like things to be ...

can't tell you about all its functions - the one i mainly need it for is to get similar windows unstuck from each other in the taskbar - like, normally, all chrome windows are next to each other, then all firefox, then all word etc. ... i often like sorting my taskbar like "word document" "chrome window in which i do research for that document" "next word document" "next chrome window" etc. ... so far, i used the taskbar tweaker to be able to do that - but you can do other taskbar-related things with it too, afaik ...

our trip last year to morocco was during ramadan, to me it seemed to have advantages and disadvantages - some things weren't as crowded as i heard they'd be (and we went to a water fun park that was almost completely empty), and it was interesting atmosphere wise at the fast breaking time, and we got to hear the cannon shot in fez at fast breaking time ... also were invited for the fast breaking meal by the family of a friend ... but some things were closed (an amusement park we promised a.), in one not very touristy town we had to go to mcdonald's, as it was the only restaurant open ... also we didn't feel comfortable drinking water out in the open, so we always had to find a quieter corner ...
