Each of your last two pictures is lovely in its own way, Deyana.

Thanks, htmb. I've been trying our new angles and what have you. It's all experimental right now!

Nice shots D! Do you have a new camera?

Thanks, Kimby. I do have a new camera, the first of the three was taken by that one. The other two were taken by two other different cameras and on different months.

Rikita...That is lovely. After having our eyes filled with the bright coloured lights of the holiday decorations, you shine the pure, cool clear light of the moon which far outstrips their gaudiness.
I won't ask for details on how you took this picture...it doesn't need analysis, just admiration.

Oh, Lizzy. Not from this location. I had actually heard a fire truck and an ambulance arrive at my neighbor's, so grabbed my camera and went to investigate. I'm not sure what was going on - some sort of medical emergency - but I never would have seen the moon otherwise.

Hauntingly beautiful Kerouac.
It was crystal clear here Saturday night and the moon was stunning!
Last night it was somewhat cloudy but not enough to prevent the rising blare through the clouds.

just looked into this thread, and as soon as i stared scrolling down, a. said "da ist der mond. ein großer mond." (there is the moon. a big moon.) - she loves the moon, and recognizes it in nature and pictures, and also sometimes in round lamps ...

Here's how the moon looked last night over northern France with the big eclipse coming up tomorrow night.
